PILATES BASIC PRINCIPLES WORKSHOP
Service Description
Take your Pilates practice to the next level! We are hosting a Basic Principles Workshops, based on the STOTT Pilates method. Our experienced instructor will guide you through over 15 exercises that relate to Breathing, Pelvic and Rib Cage Placement, Scapular Mobility, Neck and Head Alignment, and Lower Body Alignment. A great introduction to Pilates if you are new, or a chance to refine your understanding of important alignment and strength building cues. Do you hear cues such as "imprint" "neutral spine" and wonder what you should be feeling or engaging? Do you just get a sore neck when trying to lift into crunch or sustain a "hundred"? This workshop is for you! Join this workshop to be guided through the 6 Basic Principles of Pilates. Gain a deeper understanding of the mechanics and contribution of the breath, learn what alignment feels like in your body, and increase your body awareness to get more out of your class time on the mat and on the reformer.
